ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
Support for keiki impacted by abuse, neglect, or other traumatic experiences.
The Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Kaua‘i Enhancement Program provides financial support for youth ages 0-17 to support healing, well-being, and positive opportunities.
About the program
The Enhancement Program was created to provide additional support and opportunities for youth impacted by trauma. Through partnerships with professionals in the community, FCJC helps remove barriers and connect youth with meaningful resources and experiences that support healing, resilience, and the ability for youth to grow and thrive.
WHO CAN SUBMIT A REQUEST?
The Enhancement Program is available through requests submitted by professionals supporting youth impacted by trauma.
Requests must be submitted by providers such as social workers, therapists, advocates, case managers, MDT members and other professionals working with the youth.
Youth may be considered for support if they:
Are between the ages of 0-17; and
Have experienced abuse, neglect, or other traumatic experiences
Priority is given to youth who have participated in a forensic interview or medical exam through the Children’s Justice Center of Kaua‘i. Other requests are based on the circumstances, needs, and potential benefit to the youth.
